My Birthday day!

A day trip to BEN & JERRY'S plant in Vermont was on the agenda today! A long 3 hours up, a short tour and some ice cream and a looong 3 hours home. It was worth it though, I would walk thru fire to get some Vanilla Heath Bar Crunch!

Birthday dinner

I had mom and dad and Ned and his family for dinner. We had shrimp Creole (delish if I do say so myself) and it all was a good time. I stress myself out so bad over these things but in the end it is fun, good times, and usually a big rock hard pimple on my face. LOL!

Rather boring week

Not much going on. running errands, cleaning house, swimming and reading. We did go out in the boat Wednesday and went tubing...that is always fun! My arms are still killing me!

Our Terrible, Horrible, no Good, very bad Vacation

the boys playing at UMASS

Quincy Market

Duck Tour

This may not seem like big deal things but when they all come together in a 72 hour period, it is stressful (especially with a 16,10 and 8 year olds... )

Let's see......we booked the hotel specifically for a pool for the boys, we get there, pool closed for renovations. We asked for a cot at 1:30pm because there are 5 of us, we got it at 12:00am. There was noone in the room next to us, yet the alarm went off at 5:00 am every morning and it was LOUD! The toilet got plugged up and almost overflowed and... we had to have a man come up and fix it. And the maid left us one bath towel, again, there are 5 of us Not to mention the traffic and we kept getting times!! NOT! There were some highlights like the Duck tour was fun and the waitress at Dick's......Let's just say I was never happier to leave a hotel or city in my life!!!

Oh and Zak won his first match on Friday at the BayState Games for wrestling but it was downhill after that.

As a friend of mine said, if you were looking at the pictures, we looked like we had a good time, but looks are deceiving.....but we do laugh. Now.

Drivers Ed and Weigh in

Zak had his big weigh in for the Bay State Games last night. He had signed up for the 130lb. weight class and when he did that he was 142! He trained very hard and at the final hour weighed in at 129.1!! Then Chris took him and the boys to Old Country Buffet YUCK! I hope he feels ok today :)

While they were weighing in I had to attend a 2 hour long Parent Driving class. Did I mention it was 2 hours long? All about insurance, responsibility, and things I already know. . So by October I will have a driver in my house...breathe..........

Off to Boston....keep fingers crossed that Zak will do well!

Read this book

I am the type of person that when a tragedy strikes, I get depressed and moody, and after I watch all I can, I tune it out. So when a friend suggested this book, I thought, hmmm, I'll give it a try. I had forgotten on what a level this tragedy was. I finished it last night and I can't get it out of my head..........

Happy 4th!

It was a busy weekend. Chris took Friday off and we did some errands and whatnots...and Saturday was the windiest 4th of July I have ever seen! We spent the day at Onata Lake spending most of the day huddled under blankets LOL! It was fun and we got a few boat rides in and dished with family......

No pictures though cause I didn't want to babysit my camera all day.
