Happy Earth Day

Got this quote from Opah's website.....

Everybody has to look at his or her own footprint and do the best they can. It's not about being perfect, it's about doing something. If we're looking for perfection, we'll never, ever get there.

Update on Ashton Kutcher & CNN

It seems as though the contest between AK and CNN was for a worthy cause. They are donating mosquito netting to other countries which I think is fabulous!! Why in the world CNN didn't put that in the "breaking news" email is beyond me. It just stumps my brain, you would think they would want to talk up any kind of Goodwill. So I stand corrected but please don't let this happen again.

Meet Murphy!

We went to Eileen's for Easter dinner. I was bad and didn't get to many pictures because I think I was preoccupied with this cutie! Meet Murphy E. Sullivan! Isn't that the cutest name! Michael and Barbara got him a few months ago and he is precious! He is part poodle and part King Charles Cavelier.

Not again....

Chris, Zak and Christopher left early this morning for a wrestling tournament so it is just me,Sammy and Jackie. Jackson got off the bed and headed to the living room and all of a sudden we heard a huge "THUD". I ran out there and he was laying on top of all the shoes. He must have passed out and it was all I could do to call Chris. I sat with him for a few minutes and took him outside to get some fresh air and he seems ok now. He ate his breakfast and took his pills. I had a heart to heart chat with him too and told him that I was not ready for anything to happen to him so he better respect his mother's wish!

So if you have a minute, please say a prayer for Jackson. He is so much more to us than just a dog. He is our son, brother and best friend......

Happy Easter

I know I am not the most religious person out there but I do believe, have Faith and Hope for everyone and everything.

Enjoy the day!

Christopher was asked to be a reporter for a group called The Kids Connexion. His teacher picked him out of all the 4th graders and this is the first article he wrote. ( I'm still beaming!)

Cheshire school rocks!
03-30-09

Cheshire School is an amazing place. It is an excellent school to go to. Cheshire School is located in Cheshire, Massachusetts. Cheshire is a small town in the Berkshires. There are two hundred forty students in the whole school. It has prekindergarten to grade six. Everyone knows each other. We have many great programs here like, the O Ambassador program, the Greenhouse Club, Lego Club, and Kids Cook.

In the O Ambassadors Club we raise money for East Africa. The money we raise goes to a school in Kenya. The money supplies clean drinking water as well as supplies for their school. We have raised over two thousand dollars so far this year. Our school was picked by Oprah Winfrey to join the program after our principal, Mrs. St. John filled out an application and wrote an essay about Cheshire School. The thirty students that are in the club were picked by the teachers. Every teacher in the school sent names of the students that they thought would be good candidates. The names were put in a basket and thirty names were chosen.

In the spring we have a greenhouse club. We have a greenhouse in the back of the school that the students can plant plants for their gardens. The club meets once a week. Students in grades four, five and six are allowed to be in the club.

My favorite club is Lego club. In Lego Club kids work together in groups of two or three to create a Lego set. When the sets are complete we will auction them off to buy more Lego sets. My group is working on a Lego castle. It is difficult but FUN!

Another group our school has is, Kids Cook. It is a cooking show that is filmed at a local restaurant. Students In grades four, five, and six can sign up to participate. They go to the Basswater Grill where the chef teaches them how to cook various things. It is filmed by a parent who was trained by the local T.V. station. The program is then aired on television for everyone to see. The students that go really enjoy it, I think they like eating the food the best!

Our school is a great school because we have clubs and groups to join. The teachers are also nice. Everyone gets along with each other. It is a good place to be.

Dear Matt and Meredith

I have been watching the Today show for many, many years. Matt, I love you and Meredith, you are growing on me, but in all my years watching I have never had to shut you off. Until today. I don't care what Michelle Obama is wearing to meet the Queen. I don't care what she is wearing to dinner and I certainly don't care if she is whispering sweet nothings in Barack's ear. Please stop this nonsense reporting. I do care why BO is over in London. I do care about World Peace, the economy and global warming. Please do not report on MO anymore.

With respect,
CampChaos
